Measuring Length and Width (L x W). (If your filter is not a square, the smallest measurement goes first).
Measure the thickness (Depth) of your filter from front to back.
Put Your measurements together (L x W x D).
A filter’s true dimensions.
Example: 19.75” x 19.75” x 1”

View Detailed InstructionsSquare 28x28x1 returns appear on larger residential systems and some compact commercial air handlers. This Aerostar measures 28" x 28" x 1" actual - one of the rare sizes where nominal and actual specifications match. MERV 8 covers baseline residential filtration for dust, lint, and pollen. MERV 11 handles pet households and most common allergen concerns. MERV 13 captures fine particulates including smoke, bacteria, and virus-carrying droplets - the grade for households with respiratory issues or in wildfire-affected regions. Pleated synthetic media with an electrostatic charge built into the fibers does the actual work. The pleats give you substantially more surface area than a flat fiberglass filter at the same nominal size, which extends the service life to 60 to 90 days under typical residential conditions. The electrostatic charge catches sub-micron particles where the physical weave alone reaches its limits. Manufactured in the USA by Con-Air Industries, Orlando, Florida. Cardboard frame, reinforced to maintain shape under blower suction. Larger filters experience proportionally more total suction force across the filter face, which is what makes reinforced frame construction matter more at this size than on smaller filters. Frame collapse on a 28x28 lets in substantial bypass air - this filter holds shape.
MERV 8 pleated filters utilize 100% synthetic media. They help capture airborne particles/allergens between 3-10 microns in size and are an ideal upgrade from standard disposable panel filters.
Each filter lasts up to one month and should be changed and disposed of regularly. Unlike other brands, our filters will not cut your hands

MERV ratings let you know the efficiency and level of filtration that an air filter can handle under normal circumstances. The higher the MERV rating, the finer the particles are that are filtered our of the air in your home. Many air filter retailers use MERV or a similar rating to rate their air filters.
MERV Rating is the primary rating system used in the industry, both domestically and internationally. Established by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air Conditioning Engineers, MERV rates a filter’s ability to capture and hold particles and pollutants.
MPR Rating is a rating system developed by 3M. It rates the manufacturer’s Filtrete product line and their ability to capture airborne particles smaller than 1 micron.
FPR Rating is a rating system developed by The Home Depot for brands sold through their stores, including Honeywell. It utilizes a color code and number scale (4 to 10) that closely resembles the MERV rating.
Overall rating: 5.0 / 5 from 2 reviews.
