"Great filter and great service. Not sure how we ended up with an air conditioner that requires a filter that’s not readily available. FactoryDirect oh to the rescue with a very well-made filter delivered right to the door."
Measuring Length and Width (L x W). (If your filter is not a square, the smallest measurement goes first).
Measure the thickness (Depth) of your filter from front to back.
Put Your measurements together (L x W x D).
A filter’s true dimensions.

View Detailed InstructionsA square 23x23x1 nominal opening takes a filter measuring 23" x 23" x 1" actual, which is what this Aerostar is built to. Odd-sized square returns in the 23-inch dimension show up on certain residential systems and in custom installations where the original installer used a non-standard grille opening. MERV 8 covers standard household dust and pollen filtration. MERV 11 captures pet dander and most common allergens. MERV 13 handles fine particulates including bacteria, virus carriers, and wildfire smoke - the recommended grade for households with respiratory health concerns. Pleated synthetic media with an electrostatic charge built into the fibers handles the filtration. The pleats provide substantially more surface area than a flat fiberglass filter would at the same nominal size, which extends the service life to a 60-to-90-day window under typical residential conditions. The electrostatic charge improves capture of sub-micron particles where mechanical filtration alone reaches its physical limits. Manufactured by Con-Air Industries in Orlando, Florida. The cardboard frame is reinforced to maintain shape under blower suction. MERV 13 in this depth wants a 30-to-60-day change interval because higher filtration grades reach their pressure-drop limit faster than lower MERV options.
MERV 8 pleated filters utilize 100% synthetic media. They help capture airborne particles/allergens between 3-10 microns in size and are an ideal upgrade from standard disposable panel filters.
Each filter lasts up to one month and should be changed and disposed of regularly. Unlike other brands, our filters will not cut your hands

MERV ratings let you know the efficiency and level of filtration that an air filter can handle under normal circumstances. The higher the MERV rating, the finer the particles are that are filtered our of the air in your home. Many air filter retailers use MERV or a similar rating to rate their air filters.
MERV Rating is the primary rating system used in the industry, both domestically and internationally. Established by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air Conditioning Engineers, MERV rates a filter’s ability to capture and hold particles and pollutants.
MPR Rating is a rating system developed by 3M. It rates the manufacturer’s Filtrete product line and their ability to capture airborne particles smaller than 1 micron.
FPR Rating is a rating system developed by The Home Depot for brands sold through their stores, including Honeywell. It utilizes a color code and number scale (4 to 10) that closely resembles the MERV rating.
Overall rating: 5.0 / 5 from 1 reviews.
