You should also check for air leaks in your house. You want to keep the warm air trapped inside the house for as long as possible, so make sure windows are sealed and your home is properly insulated.
Protect the Pipes from Freezing:
Any metal or plastic pipe that is exposed to cold temperatures could freeze at extreme temperatures. Make sure they are insulated and the water is constantly running through them to avoid freezing and bursting.
‘Tis the season to be festive and decorate the house. However, make sure the wires and lights are in good condition before turning them on. Also, if you use extension cords outside, make sure the connections are safe and free from moisture and water.
